The municipal council of Dilsen-Stokkem was in favour of this renewable energy project. The final permit for the construction of the wind turbines was issued by the Flemish Government on 12 September 2019.

A total of three Vestas V100 wind turbines with each a nominal power of 2,2 MW and a tip height of 175 metres will be installed. There will produce approximately 15,5 GWh of green electricity, which corresponds to the annual consumption of approximately 4.500 households.

The preparatory works, which include building the access roads, installing the work platforms and pulling the power cables, will start on Monday 12 April. The wind farm will start producing electricity in November 2021.

The construction of the wind farm is being carried out in close collaboration with local contractors. The in Limburg well-known cooperative company with social purpose 'Bronsgroen CVBA so' is also participating in the wind energy project. Windvision is always open to dialogue with all parties involved in this project.
